Hi all!
I am glad you ended up here! I’m just a girl who loves math and wants to share it with the world.
To speak to the level of my love of math – my husband and I got engaged on the Pi Day of all Pi days. It was 3/14/15 at 9:26 to be exact. (If this is confusing to you, please see the digits of pi at your earliest convenience).
This is my 10th year in education! I have worked in two vastly different school districts – but have always been in the math classroom. I have taught everything from Algebra 1 to Calculus 2 at varying levels. I absolutely LOVE to create math content – activities, notes, games and all the good stuff in between.
While I have always felt drawn to being a helpful and productive part of society, teaching has had its difficulties. I fell out of love with teaching for a brief period after Covid, and on the verge of leaving the field have found ways to fall back in love with it again.
When I am not teaching, I love to run, read, and spend time with friends & family. I hope this will be a space to share the good, the bad, and most importantly – the helpful.
